Being closer to deer country, and all those cool lil' towns around san antonio is what makes it cooler than DFW. IMO.

Just be aware, the closer you are to Edwards Platue the lesser the Deer gets. Just kidding, lotsa stuff to do in SA. Good luck on what ever you decide.

seaworld/six flags, almost world class golfing resorts, rim/quarry shopping/3d movies, bass pro, multiple gun ranges, great gun shops and bow shops, go northwest 1-2 hours exotics are free ranging, go southwest 1-2 hours golden triangle deer, south 1 hour choke canyon for freshwater fishing, 1-2 hour southeast coastal saltwater fishing and duck hunting, appx 2 hours to boat or reservation casinos, medical and law schools, military and vintage air shows, in town lake fireworks shows, hillcounty rivers to tube all summer long, quaint hill country cities to antique/explore, one major gun show per month, 5 universities and community college with 2 for 1 classes for $350 total, affordable cost of living and decent pay, more recycling than austin, lowest cost of power of top 20 largest us cities, airport with direct flights to western states for elk hunting and two stop flights around us for pheasant and other hunting/fishing including alaska so .................................................. ......................

Hill Country, Hills, NOT FLAT, Calaveras - best catfishing in the state, authentic Mexican Food, not Taco Bell or Taco Bueno... SPURS - classy Basketball team, Hunting, Hunting, and Hunting.

Not sure what part. The company I work for has three locations. I was told that the north side was better then south.
Also, please don't get me wrong. I like the DFW area. Just exploring my options.
