I live in Magnolia. I would be VERY interested if there were more spots on the place. Send me a PM if so!
I feed literally 19 deer every evening in my backyard.
If you want to know about deer in the area, do a search on here under my name and "Backyard Bucks". I used to feed them protein but it got too expensive, they would empty 1200lb protein feeder in less than a week. AND then people in the subdivision would pick off the bucks (no hunting allowed).

Plenty of deer around these parts. But finding one that worthy of the wall are few and far between. If your hunting closer towards Waller it gets worse. Every dang hillbilly with a smokepole will be shooting at the deer the second season opens. And some don't even wait that long...You will however probably have at least a shot at putting some meat in the freezer every single year. I have hunted the grimes/waller co line for 4 years now and haven't not put at least one in the freezer. (All does, during archery season with my bow and 1 buck that I got mounted)
Theres plenty of us in the magnoila area. I live about 4 miles from Downtown mag. Can't beat Rancho Grande for lunch or dinner and the BBQ place down 1488 behind the alcohol place isn't too shabby either. Don't shop at the Food basket go to Brookshire Bros for your groceries and the cheapest gas in town is usually at the Cheveron across from Rancho Grande. Hope some of this helps haha.
