    Like Homer Simpson said "DOH"

Hunted this morning, beautiful sunrise saw a small 2 and a half year old 8 pt basket rack and one small doe. From my earlier posts you will notice I have not been seeing anything, anyway I get down at about 10:15 and go back to my truck and decide to go ahead and fill up my feeder, by this time it is nearly 11:00 am. So I am carrying a sack of corn and i get about halfway to my feeder when I get snorted at, I look up and there's Mr. Headgear.looking at me with a sack of corn and I'm looking at him looking at me, Homer came to mind with a big "DOH" maybe tomorrow.

Last year at my stand sometime the bigger bucks would also not show up till 10 am and even into 11 am. It was amazing and it was consistient once the weather cooled down.

Sleep in tomorrow and go to the stand later. Hunt 10-1. Good luck.

I will be curious to see what the deer are doing now that it has cooled off some. Tough to sit all day but if its productive, Im all for it.

Man, that stinks. I know how you feel though. I saw the biggest whitetail I've EVER seen one day about noon while I was filling a feeder. He was about like Travis' Heart Attack, except with more mass all the way out and up. When he was running off and jumping cactus, his head would lag sideways behind his body when he'd make a turn. That rack was HEAVY.

I still wake up at night having nightmares about seeing that.
