New Redfield optics

Anybody tried redfields new stuff I looked through there new line of scopes and binos at academy the other day, and they seemed very nice especially for the price.

i have not tried them yet, but they should be a quality product as they are being produced by Leupold now.

Yup leupy is making them now. Should be some nice quality... Id still buy leupold's first though.

I have their Rebel 10 x 42 Binos and Raider 550 Range Finder. Range finder is a no nonsense entry level system that is microscopic and light. The Rebel Binos are awesome! I compared them to similar spec'd. Nikon's and Leupold's and IMO I couldn't see any reason not to buy them they were that good.

They now come out of the same factory as leupolds. I have used one a bunch on a friends gun and it was really nice. I mess with them at work and they seem be awesome quality for the money.

I have several of the scopes and 1 of the rangefinders. Seem to be good quality and have no regrets in the purchases.

I have not heard anything bad. The only thing I didn't like about the rifle scopes was that the click adjustment in the turrets was not very positive.

I have a 3x9 40mm on a 22 mag that I like a lot....... not sure if it matters to you or not, but redfield binos and range finders are not made in the US at the leupold plant...... only redfield scopes are US made...... the same goes for leupold, the "green ring" binos are made in the Phillipines.
