Moving itunes account help

Got a new computer, does anyone know how to move itunes account to new computer. Thanks

Watching....as I have a ton of songs on my desktop and need to move them to my laptop!

It may be possible to move the files location to a portable external hard drive and then use that to move them to your new computer. Not sure if it'll work that way but just a thought

This is one way of doing it! Ive done it this way before and just saved the songs then uploaded from folder once I got the new itunes opened...

I also have a tune transfer disc that transfer the songs automagicallly!

Ive done this several times but I found it easy just saving them then uploading from a folder...


I have done it through my ipod though and they say that there is a risk in it but Ive never had a problem.

load itunes on new computer, under file, save library, then copy into new itunes.

An iPod is basically an external hard drive, it stores the files. I have used one to transport stuff when I didn't have a thumb-drive or hd On hand but I've never transfered music except by using iTunes and dragging and dropping from a p2p site

Yes sir, the music is what Im worried about. I can't transfer any of my Ipod music to any of my other computers Itunes library's even though all my computers are authorized on the same Itunes account. I always have to re-sync and delete everything. So essentially I have 3 computers with 3 different Itunes accounts (all authorized under the same account) library's, and no way to combine the three into one, and load everything into my Ipod. Which I think the OP is having the same issue.

Sweet, i just got a mac and have been needing to transfer my library or ipod over to the itunes on the mac. You can rip your ipod to a new computer using gizmorip which is pretty easy but it wont work for a mac. Have yall ever typed in your itunes account into a new computer and it says only up to 5 computers can access the same account i have 2 computers for my account but its says theres 4 computers using my account!!!! Does that mean someone is jacking music from my account or something?
