    new setup?

i just bought a 2010 Hoyt Turbohawk from Iceman(Btw, it came in perfect conditon, great person to work with)

The bow is set at 27.5" draw length and im pulling 60lbs... would Goldtip 5575
400g arrows be alright w/ 100g fixed broadheads? also, what kind of speed am i looking at?? thanks!

The GT 5575's are the right shaft, but at the length I would cut them for your DL,( 25 3/4 inch shafts), they will only weigh +/- 350 grains.

i know this may sound like a noob question, but wouldnt 25.75 be too short?

The AMO standard of DL measurement is 'true dl + 1 3/4 inches'.
True DL is full draw to the pivot point of grip.
Most rests have a 1 inch overdraw, so if you cut the arrow to the true draw, you will have 1 inch of shaft past the rest, assuming the Dl on the bow is accurate.
        A bow with a DL of 27 1/2 inches has a "true DL of 25 3/4 inches'
I shoot a 28 inch DL bow, and my arrows are 26 1/4 inches, and I have slightly more than 1 inch past my rest, with my rest pushed as close to the riser as I can get it..
