Air intake, exhaust. Programmer wont make a big enough difference on a gasser to justify the cost

The Hypertec type of programmer wont do crap, but if you get a Blackbear customs tune or one similar, you will love it

I had the hypertec and after 2-3 years it quit and fried my trucks ECM. Truck wouldn't even start. I played dumb at the dealer and they replaced it under warranty. They said if it wasn't under warranty it would run $700 or $800

In a diesel you can dump massive amounts of fuel, change up turbo, advance timing. And alot of other thogs and gain power that was just not being taken advantage of. If you take that too far with too hot of a tune then that's your fault. It doesn't work the same with gassers. Ou have to actually physically change parts if you want a gain and there's not that much to gain from exhaust/intake. With too big of exhaust you can actually lose power. So if you want better performance then buy a turbo or supercharger which most people can't afford. Or you can change your gearing to gain speed but destroy your milage. If you want to go fast then buy a sportscar...or get a diesel

It's easy to screw up when the push of a button can add 200hp. Not so much with a gasser

I have the hypertec. The only thing it does for me is make my spedometer work and tell me the codes when my truck breaks.
