how do you water proof pop up blind

Tired of having leaks from roof when it rains. I know they're water resistant but how do you get it to be water proof. What do you guys put on the roof of your pop ups. Does camp dry really work?

I use to put trash bag liners iside the roof under the stabilizing rods. Still leaked but at least I deflected it enough to miss me.

I'm might be a little arachnophobic, and those both sound like prime hiding places

At $20 a can they are proud of that stuff. I buy a very similar product used for sealing condensate drain pans for about $7 a can. Spray on rubber sealant. I've used it on blinds, stand platforms for traction and making things quiet, just all kinds of stuff. If you use a product like that keep in mind it will crack when you fold up the blind if you put it on very thick.

If your going to leave the popup up for a while, put a camo tarp on top and secure it down. Works like a charm. It also keep your popup from fading in the sun.

Flex seal and water guard can u purchase those in a store or only online?

Txjourneyman what's the name of that rubber sealant for $7. And where can I buy it. Is that the same thing huntmaster is talking about. Camp dry. I want something that u can spray on kinda thick to ensure water proof.

I thought about putting a tarp but didn't really liked the way it would look.

Ya i was wondering where you are worrying about this rain?!?

I use camp dry from walmart, for all my weatherproofing needs... Then let it set outside to air out.

I know there's no rain but I need to get it ready so I can go set it up. I figure now is the time to start setting up blinds so your deer start getting use to them.

the stuff I use is called Rebound aerosol rubberized coating. You have to have a Chemsearch account to buy it from them. I am down to 2 cans and will be buying another case soon. i'll send you a can when I get it if you would like. PM me your address.
