    Fleece?

Anyone own any fleece clothing? Thinking about buying a pair of fleece pants and jacket. How well does it work in colder weather?

    Get a Fleece Sweater Vest!

It keeps your body warm, but keeps your arms free.

Regular fleece is nice and warm, but it isn't a good wind barrier. You can get some with Gore-Tex or other wind barrier sewn in too, or you can wear fleece underneath a barrier, if needed. I have several different Patagonia fleece (and other) stuff. It's good stuff.

Can't really tell, but there's a fleece pullover collar (olive green) showing a little in my avatar pic.

I like fleece. I would suggest getting the one that has a windstopper liner in it.

I couldn't agree more! My mother-in-law brought me a black fleece vest from a trip to Canada and I thought, "what do I do with this?". I don't leave home without it now. As a matter of fact, I am wearing it in my avatar. Fleece is good stuff and a vest really frees up your arms for drawing a bow.

I've had a couple pair of fleece bibs for about 17 years. They are unlined; so, I can wear them with layers in almost any weather. Cabelas made them. They haven't had them in years, but luckily I Haven't gotten much bigger. I can start with an abscent layer and light cotton clothes with fleece when it starts getting cold. I can add polypro in layers as it gets colder. On a really cold day, I wear the bibs, a fleece jacket with a fleece vest as the top layer. Pretty cozy. Keeps the trunk warm without bulking up the shoulders and arms.

                      Fleece is the best!

You can never own enough fleece. It's the only cold weather clothing quiet enough to bowhunt in.

when it's cold and rainy I use fleece over my raingear so it will be quiet.

I have the pullover and pants from Cabela's with windstopper liner in it. It is super quiet and you can layer underneath for colder weather.
