The Tandy kits are a good way to get started and if you have a Tandy store nearby they sometimes have classes to help you out.

Making these sheaths is good practice for me to learn different tooling combinations.

As myself along with all the other leather workers here are very busy, mostly due to this thread. I bit the bullet and got an Associate Sponsorship to try to get a lot of orders of the same item done to try to help everyone else out. I'm swamped to say the least.

I can make you a belt but I'm about 4 months out on orders. I DO NOT put a lining on the back, it's just tooled leather. I do stain the back the same color as the front.

If you're willing to wait that long and have me do it, any idea of what design and color you'd like?

Got a sheath done for a Leatherman for a friend of mine at work. I worked on this during my waiting time on the Trapper sheaths I'm working on.

Clint, that's looking down right professional.

Judging by the tooling, stitching and coloring that's your best one yet.

                      Thanks!

Coming from you, that's saying a lot. I'm very proud of it and I agree, my best thus far along with the 1911 .45

Now if I could just free-hand some Sheridan patterns....
