Y'all do some pretty good work. If one was thinking about starting a hobby like this would one of the starter kits from Tandy be worth the money? Or look somewhere else?

The Tandy kits are a good way to get started and if you have a Tandy store nearby they sometimes have classes to help you out.

As myself along with all the other leather workers here are very busy, mostly due to this thread. I bit the bullet and got an Associate Sponsorship to try to get a lot of orders of the same item done to try to help everyone else out. I'm swamped to say the least.


I can make you a belt but I'm about 4 months out on orders. I DO NOT put a lining on the back, it's just tooled leather. I do stain the back the same color as the front.

If you're willing to wait that long and have me do it, any idea of what design and color you'd like?
