Do y'all have any good leads on finding Sheridan style carving patterns??
Thank you. I've been looking for Sheridan style patterns online with no luck. I think I am going to have to buy a book with them.

If it's already been stained or dyed, you won't get any results from tooling. Leather has to be "fresh" and clean to be able to get the proper tooling impressions.

My stitching is off a little on the back that's what i get for rushing . But anyways y'all get the picture. Pretty simple to make.

Never will see the stitching in the back.

Nice job, I'll try one of those before too long. It'll go good with either my Judge or Bond derringer.

Bowman, if you don't mind, what are the dimensions of your shell holder?

Pre-folded width & height, width of leather used on the loops and spacing of the holes its laced thru?

Would save a lot of wasted leather from trial and error on my part.
