I started this saddle tie down stand with the idea I would try my hand at building a saddle. That was over 2 years ago and I don't see me coming up with that kind of time or $ anytime soon. It is about 85% complete. Just needs top plywood and locking ratchet for tie down bar. It is built off of Al Stohlmans pattern in his "Encyclopedia of saddle making". Located in McKinney. Hoping one of you leather masters can use this thing.

I designed a stamp and I had a guy in Temple make it. Not in my hands yet but looks sweet. Lots of cool patterns can be made with this one.
