    Pure Protein is 4cal/gm.

    Divide the calories by the protein grams and shoot for 5 or less. The higher the calories/gm the more fat/carbs and other junk that is in there. Also Look for an Isolate protein. Whey Protein is good pre and especially post workout. Soy or casein protein is good morning or night because it is a slow release.

    I drink 4 per day. whey in the morning, pre workout and post workout then Casein before bed. non workout days whey morning and casein night. eat 12 boiled egg whites per day also.

      I have the bootleg copied p90x. Do you just pop it in and do them all or are they certain days or what?

        Started my 8th week of P90X yesterday. Definitley changing my body and mind. No carbonated drinks in over 8 weeks, no smokes, eating better, following the dvd's as best as possible, some of the exercises are hard to do being overweight, not very flexible and a large mid section, but it is getting better. I drink mostly water during the day and a protein shake mid morning and one right after working out in the afternoon and sometimes one in the evening. The protein is an Isolate Whey with zero sugars or fat. I have an image of what I want to look like and that is my goal.

          Google p90x schedule and you will find a workout schedule that they recommend. They mix it up pretty good.

          I am on my last week of P90x and looking forward to taking next week off before I start P90x2.

          I haven't lost a ton of weight, only about 15 pounds but I didn't really have a huge amount to lose, but my body is definitely changing. I have a lot of toning up I need to keep working on though. So we will see how P90X2 is.

            What do you mix your Whey Protein with? I have the chocolate BSN’s Syntha-6 Whey Protein.

                    hows the shakeology doing for you? i tried a couple of samples and it messed up my stomach but im guessing it was cuz of all the new stuff i was putting into my body. did you have the same problem at first?

                      no never had that problem, but i do like it. i think it gives me a little energy lift when i drink it, but that could be in my head.

                        I would like to add some strength training with all the running I do. I saw the infomercial on tv this morning while getting ready for work. Sparked my interest.

                          Did ab burner x or what ever it's called and chest and back last night. The abs hurts but my shoulders are killing me this morning after all those pushups and pull ups last night
