    Weeds in my tank?

What is this stuff? Never had it before. Looks like duckweed but red instead of green.

I got tired of spraying ever few months, so went and bought a couple of cheap ducks off Craigslist and haven't had any filamentous algae or floating weed problems since. I have to buy new ducks every time the bobcats find 'em, but a $4 duck will pretty much clean a half acre pond in a couple of weeks.

Thats a great solution, but the coyotes ate all my ducks in 48 hours.

Did you look for diuron? Its the same thing. I still can't believe its safe for a pond though. Its what we use for preemergent in our cotton fields. LOL

                    Looks like dying duckweed.

Whitecap will kill duckweed but it ain't cheap!!

Reward, Aquaneat, Accord... they'll get rid of it. Better priced but may take a couple of applications.

If you've got a fish farm nearby, get some Tilapia. I'm putting in an order this next week for some... Little late but I'm gonna try some out.

Here's a link for a good variety of products. They don't tell on the website what each of these chemicals do, but if you do some research of what you need, you can find the product here at Boatcycle. They ship anywhere.

Txjourney, the label says it's ok. No fish died.
Jason, diuron did not work, I know it's the active ingredient in Karmex but it didn't do what Karmex did
