    Sandblaster for Home Use

What is a good sandblaster to buy. I need to clean up a bbq pit and a few other things. Maybe do some glass and wood etching down the road. I want something better than a siphon feed, but not looking to spend $500. (but I don't want to buy junk either- if I have to save up I will) Any recomendations?

Is something like this any good?

That would work fine for what you want. Make sure you use it with a hood and a cartridge respirator. Silica is a carcinogen.

Will a paint spray respirator work? I bought one for another project and never opened it.

Oh yeah, and make sure your air compressor can deliver as much air as the blaster calls for...

may look into one of these...i may get the small soda blaster for little projects around the house...my truck hitch is getting a few rust spots...thought about pulling it off, blasting and repainting

I have the 20# from Harborfreight . It works great . You must have an aircompressor that will be able to keep up with the blaster . I want the cabinet blaster next .

Get some Black Beauty media. Less than 1% silica.
