You got that right DL. I agree with Texag93 too. My wife and I make a round from BP to GM on 290 and 45 the day after Thanksgiving just to see what's on sale. Bought 2 feeder timers this year, both at Academy because they cost less there. Corn is cheaper at Academy then anywhere I have found in the Houston area.

Yeah if an 11 year old boy can't find enough stuff to blow his money on at a place, that is a bad thing. Atleast he got some stuff he wanted though.

I go to Cabela's, Academy and Wal-Mart for all of my hunting stuff. Ever since they opened Cabela's I haven't gone back to Bass Pro Shops in Grapevine. I can be at Cabela's in the same amount of time (1 hour) and have a much better selection and the staff there is always helpful. I go to Gander Mountain sometimes but it's 40 minutes away and I'd rather drive an extra 20 minutes and get a better selection.

What type of items would y'all like to see in the stores in Katy and Pearland? Give me some ideas and I will be glad to pass them along. I know I would like to see more ladies' hunting clothes. Thanks!

I would just like to see more clothing, both camo and regular. Archery dept. needs a bigger selection also. They can tkae that big arse waterfall out to make room for more stuff. I thought that the ladies were plentyful but the bad thing is not many woman got to BPS without their HUSBANS

When BP sends out the sale flyer it is a guarantee that they will be out of whatever is on sale. Cabelas has the best customer service around, but they will not match prices. I tried to buy a camera recently that Academy had for $198.99. Cabelas price $219.00. They will not match the price. However, it still might be worth it to buy from Cabelas, they have always taken care of me.

Bass Pro in San Antonio has an awesome fly fishing shop as well as a decent fishing selection. BASS PRO....better have some decent fishing stuff. For hunting, I prefer Cabelas or Sportsmans Warehouse.
