I'm strictly a Mathews shooter now but i did shoot the Assassin when narrowing it down and it was an awesome bow. Can't say I have shot the Venture but shoot whatever feels best in your hand. It's all about what feels best to you. no matter what name is on it just do your research on things like axle to axle length if you are going to be hunting out of a tree stand or blind, you want something a little more compact but again most pro shops I went to let me put em in my hand and shoot em all and that's the best way to go! Good luck in making your decision and let us know how it goes!

ok just saw where you shot them both, I was in your same position between the Hoyt Carbon element and Z7 Xtreme Tactical. It's hard but you got this!

The Bowtech will be the better performing bow but go with what feels the best and will you'll be happy to hunt with.

Since I just shot a lot of bows and finally decided on the Mathews Z7 Tactical, I can't give you much advice. Just wanted to say the Z7 is a compact, smooth, quite bow and has a lifetime warranty. Next in line for me was the Assassin.

That is a tough decision, but your decision only, no one else's.

Going through a similar exercise myself. I'm going out today or tomorrow to test a few out but the Assassin is the early leader. By all accounts it is one heck of a bow.

Like the others said, buy what feels best to you. It's a good problem to have!

I think my biggest concern is I have shot the same bow for 12 years !!! Orginal "Buckmaster". It has a single cam, so I am conditioned to the draw cycle. Both bows are in my price range.

The Mission has the single cam & the Bowtech has the binary cams, which I had never shot a bow like this until two days ago. It is different to me. I liked both so I'm about to start losing sleep !!!!!!!

I wouldn't worry about the dual cams. They are still easy drawing bows.

he assassin is extremly smooth and dead in the hand and i dont know about the venture much but if it comes in the same kind of package deal then it would be a good set up.. but like every person that has shot the assassin they say your getting much more bow then what the price is listed at... but f you are wanting a single cam bow try looking at the diamond line as well, like they mentioned bowtech has a higher resale and well diamond is made by bowtech so you know your going to get a quality bow and the new line up comes with the RAK like the assassin..

You really are NOT sold are you?

There's always the almight coin but if I were you I would enjoy the moment, go to multiple shops and shoot everything that's out there until you don't have to ask us.
