    Not a rant!!!

I'm sharing this story to find out 1) if its happened to anyone else 2) anyone know a good fence builder in killeen?

So i get a message from wife saying to call her immediately. She is 7 months pregnant and i'm in Iraq so i think the worst. Well it turns out during the night someone felt like they needed to see the inside of my backyard and drove through my back fence, spraying wood scraps EVERYWHERE!!! They then realized they weren't on the road anymore so they decided to leave and in their haste forgot their side mirror and one windshield wiper. So if anyone in Killeen sees a silver Ford truck with a smashed front end, no mirror, and only one wiper blade, give them the one finger salute for me. I am just glad it happened when no one was outside since my 3yo girl loves her swingset and the backyard.

Glad to know that nobody close to you got hurt. Did your wife call the police? Have the cops finger print the mirror and eventually the owner will be notified and ticketed and or chrged with reckless endangerment, property damage and failure to maintain control. Ask you wife to document the event. Overall it's good to know that your family is safe and not injured. Best wishes.

Yes the police were called but they weren't too concerned with it really. They took the mirror and hopefully find something on it. I too am glad noone was hurt and also glad they stopped when they did....the ruts were within feet of the fence between my neighbor and myself. Then it would have been two fences to get repaired instead of just one...lol.

I assume we're talking about a privacy fence here? How many posts did it take out? I don't know any fence building companies, but I bet there's enough guys around the Killeen area on TBH that could get together on a weekend and replace a car sized section of fence to help a TBH brother and one of our nation's finest while he's away. I'll volunteer my time and a few tools if we can get another guy or two to help out. I rebuilt the privacy fence in my backyard a few years ago and it's pretty simple if the posts are spaced correctly, which I bet they are, since it's easier to build that type of fence when you buy it in 8' panels.

Glad everyone is OK. I know that doesn't do much for your fence, but that is the most important thing. If I knew anything about fencing, I would help you out.

Hate to hear this kinda news, makes me mad. I don't know if is my luck or what but I'ves busted several turds in our driveway or tryin to get in my vehicle or my parent's. Glad everyone was ok but people like that should be brought to justice for all the danger they put innocent people in.

It's happened to my parents three times and the neighbor across the street, but they live off of Roy Reynolds so not too surprising.

I can help fix it Saturday afternoon or Sunday early.

Thanks for the offers to help fix my fence but my wife already contacted the original builders and they gave us a great deal to repair it. It drives me crazy that this happened and now Killeen is talking about widening the road behind my house so cars will be even closer to my house! Oh well, hopefully i'll catch em if it happens again. If it does happen again i'm thinking 4" pipe filled with concrete every three feet along the fenceline. That would be one hell of a surprise for them...lol.
