When hunting at night has anyone else noticed that the rage broadheads sometimes spark when impacting a pig? Sunday night I shot a pig and the instant the arrow hit him, I saw a white spark at the point of impact. This has happened before, but i blew it off thinking maybe I was seeing things, but I am absolutely sure it is sparking. It makes sense considering their design, but interesting nonetheless. Anyone else?

Now that someone else says they saw it I feel much better! I had one spark bigtime on a pig but thought it must have been bloodspray or something. I knew it was a flash of some sort and was almost positive it was a spark. -
never shot an expandable after dark, but i am sure it can happen with the steel blades and steel ferrule striking each other! Interesting for sure!Comment

are you using the titanium's?
Titanium will spark with some weird combination of moisture, and air friction.
I remember when they started making Ti driver and seeing them do it on wet mornings.Comment

Every broadhead I've shot in low light sparked, but only when they hit the ground. Never noticed one sparking when it hit a pig. Cool!Comment

Carterizing the blood vessels. Makes it a bit harder to track, but so worth the effort.

These are the regular aluminum ferrule ones. If i remember right titanium gives a bluish white spark.Comment
