    RV frig help?!?!

My RV frig works fine when running on gas or set on auto, using gas, but it won't run just on electricity? Any tips or what I need to check?

    Thanks

Check the breaker box. I'll bet it popped.

If it isn't the breaker or a fuse, remove the fridge vent cover on the outside of the trailer and make sure the fridge is plugged in tight to the outlet. Mine worked its way out once.

Mine wouldn't work on electric. Had a blown fuse and a shorted out heating element. Easy Fix and the heating element wasn't very expensive.

Most RV Fridges are on the GFI circuit, so if the GFI outlet is trip in Bathroom or Kitchen, you won't have power at the Fridge Outlet. Also there is a 120V fuse on the Fridge circuit board. If you have a meter and If you have power to the board. Check the voltage at the element connection. No voltage, you have a bad PC board. If you have voltage, Bad element. You can check the continuity of the element, if I remember right, the element should be about 45 ohms.
