I got rid of the tube and now use the Ivomec injection orally. Gave it to him 6-11 for first time. No problems. Mixed it with OJ.

I use a 1cc syringe for ivomec. I also give comfortis for fleas, works so much better than frontline, especially when you can't keep your dogs out of the water!

I went to the feed store and the told me they use ivercare(ivermectrin) past 1.87% for their dogs. Anyone use this? Doesn't sound as percise. Any opinons?

If you are looking for an economical & easy way you might try this website.

Cheap generic replacement for Heartgard heartworm prevention for dogs

Personally I give my dog Sentinel, it is a heart worm, hook worm, round worm, and flea preventative. I also cost me $272 for a year supply from the vet. Iverheart was $29 for 6 months from the same vet (for my other dog). Iverheart is a ivermectin based preventative, same thing as heart gard.

ivermectin paste-1 notch per 50# dog-been using it for years with no issues. Had a couple of hogdogs that lived to be 15 and 14 yrs old-never had organ problems or anything.
