What the exterminator actually did was sprinkle diatomaceous earth up in the attic. It worked GREAT!

Edit...when I say coexisted, it means I personally killed on site. They weren't killed by chemicals. The diatomaceous earth was a great solution after one fell in my bed from the ceiling. The DE needs to be put in the attic. They crawl up the side of the house, enter through the eaves, then come in the house from light fixtures/ceiling fans. Sneaky little critters!

this stuff is awesome, safe for pets, no chemicals, we dust the dogs with it ( no fleas or ticks in months ), and spread it around the yard, attic, in and around the house, havent seen roaches, spiders, or any other in several months, even kills fire ants!! Find it at a feed store and and put it to work

It will jack up an ant mound too. For bugs its like crawling over a bunch of broken plate glass.

Yep you can mix it with stored grains and it will kill any hatching larva too.

I am a bug man by trade so I get to use the good stuff on my house. Whatever you use get that stuff in the cracks and crevises. You can seal up craks outside with caulk and if you have weep holes stuff them with steel wool. This will cut down on how many can get in. And yes they love the attics. Diatomaceous earth is organic so that is a good option to use. As with everything else right now they are looking for water.
