where to go on the frio

thinking about taking the wife and kids down to the frio river for about four days in late july, where are some good places to stay, and good places to visit? either cabins on the river or camp grounds. thanks

there is a neighborhood next to the golf course and a local restaurant called the house pasture that has some nice houses to rent. We're going next weekend and always stay in the area. Not too far to the river, close to golf, house has a pool, & close to some good food. There are also some cabins that are right on the river at the second crossing I believe. Smaller and right on the water, though there probably isn't much water these days. Do a search on frio cabins and I'm sure you can find these both.

We've had a great time the last couple years at Seven Bluffs. Several cabins there to rent. We're headed back in a couple weeks.
