You can't even see water with binoculars from what used to be my favorite duck hunting spot on Meredith. It is sad to even go up there.

      Ebbs and flows.

Almost makes you want to wish for a hurricane.

I was at a Dam Safety seminar last week and it was peculiar talking about 20-40 inch rain events with the weather we're having right now.

Craziness... Great perspective with the photos, though.

None of us really like going to safety seminars Devin but this is a family oriented site!

Missing them photos Casey but it appears you couldn't capture any right now anyway. Sad.

I'd hate to see a spark on or near my place right now.

Wow! I believe Lake Houston is a major water supply for the city of Houstons drinking water.

This is a shame. I just cringe to think about all the people who bought nice lake lots and built homes on the lake and now they can't even see the water.

I have a 2 inch gap between my cement and yard along the driveway. The only thing that gets water these days are my wife's flowers in the front yard.

I can only imagine how bad it is at the lease.

That's no bueno for your foundation. U ever hear the foundation repair commercials on The Ticket?

Wow. Excellent photos, Casey. Sad subject matter. It looks like that everywhere in the state right now. Come on tropical moisture!!!

Sorry to sidetrack but it's scary how low all the lakes around the state are. I was on Travis a month ago and was speechless at times.
