well just in case you really wanted to hunt with a cross bow on your next adventure to NM you can now.
Crossbows and bolts may now be used in “Any Legal Sporting Arm” or “Muzzleloader” hunts unless otherwise restricted

Mobility-Impaired Hunters, see page 15.

If you drew Bow tag..you better have a Bow in hand in New Mexico unless Certified to do otherwise. (not that there's anything wrong with that).

That's cool..wonder why they won't allow a bow during this season too LOL!
