    video camera help

for years now I have wanted to start videoing some during my hunts. I dont want to be a professional or anything, just want to have decent footage of animals I see while hunting and getting the kill on tape. Question is, will a standard def camera be ok, or do I need HD? One I am looking at is
http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Sony+-+H...7#BVRRWidgetID I like the high zoom and I think I like the fact that it can take SD cards. What do yall recomend?

dang looks like a hell of a deal....I have a camera similar to that but maybe 1-2 years older. I like mine but it is not good for longer distances(100-200 yards). I think I am going to spend $500-$800 and buy a very good one. I know a few people with similar HD cams and seems the HD makes alot of difference.

I mean the one I have has done well, just want to get little better footage of rifle hunts. Good luck
