    100 degree days out west!

Can anyone remember having this many 100 degree days in a summer much less this early in a year? Been paying attention to San Angelo area weather hoping to see a glimpse of some rain chances and I don't think I have seen more than two or three days not over 100 since first of may. I can remember a couple weeks in a row in July and august but not say 18 out of 20 in June. This is horrible and I am really dreading July and august.

It's going to be a rough year for deer hunters out west. No rain, little natural forage and hot as hail...

          Welcome to Texas!

You will find it a bit balmy in the summer and a little cool in the winter. It averages out

It looks similar to the special "da bulls" dance chris farley did on snl with Micheal Jordan. Coconut shell braw, hula skirt and all!

In 1980 or '81 we had 30-35 days in a row at or above 100 degrees in the Panhandle. It was in May and June. That winter we went 30 something days without ever getting above freezing. Crazy year.

I'm not sure I understand. I know it's been a hot one so far but how can we have 18 out of 20 days in June over 100 when it's only the 11th day of June???
Exactly how may days have you had 100 degrees this year? Total. May and June...

This is looking to be real bad. The summer of 09' Austin had 68 days at or above 100. It was the overall hottest summer ever recorded there and 1 day shy of tying the record of 69 days above 100. That streak didnt start until june 13. Here in Brownwood i know we have already had close to 15 days of 100.

The 10 day forecast is all over a hundred as well, I am assuming he is including those....

the crazy thing is our ranch is 50/50 mule deer and whitetail and in the wet year we see better horns out of the mulies and in the dry year we have better horns for the whitetails.

Don't worry. It will rain 3 days before, all through and 2 days after the opening of the south zone dove season. Always does.
