    Army Sgt. Joshua D. Powell

I know I have a lot of patriotic brothers on here and lots of fellow veterans. Army Sgt. Joshua D. Powell died of wounds suffered June 4, in Laghman province, Afghanistan, when insurgents attacked his unit with an improvised explosive device. His body will arrive in Tyler tomorrow morning, the town of Lindale is meeting downtown at 10am. Anyone else along the route from Tyler to Quitman, please come out to hwy 69 and honor this hero.
My family and I will be out there.
All gave some, SOME GAVE ALL.
I want my kids to see freedom isn't free, it comes at a very high price.
May God bless his wife and family.

This soldier from Gladwater passed away, the day after, East Texas has given alot this month.

Army Chief Warrant Officer 2 Bradley J. Gaudet
Died June 5, 2011 serving during Operation Enduring Freedom

31, of Gladewater, Texas; assigned to 1st Battalion, 10th Aviation Regiment, 10th Combat Aviation Brigade, 10th Mountain Division, Fort Drum, N.Y.; died June 5, in Khost province, Afghanistan, of injuries suffered as the result of an OH-58D helicopter crash.
These are rare occasions when we Americans git to show our gratitude for our soldiers, that we do care when we loose anyone. That we are not oblivious to there sacrifice. I know my brothers on here feel like I do, I am preaching to the choir.

                    May God bless them both.

If I lived closer it would be an honor to pay tribute to these hero's along the burial route.

Wish I was closer too.........It would be quite an honor. Malone bringing his family to see what freedom is about. Does not get better than that
