Looks to me like he's just about half hunkered down.

his 2 front legs are completely straight and his hind legs are bent and he is still sittin at a bad angle though, so i dont think hes hunkerin down. looks like a deformity to me.

What you have there is a picture of the elusive Jackalope. It's often thought to be a mythical creation of evil taxidermists, but a true hybrid between the whitetail deer and the jackrabbit does in fact occur from time to time. He's probably sterile, so your does are safe.
