All great positions and pay VERY well in most cases.

My first MOS was T-64 jet engine overhaul mechanic. Went to all the schools for it and then went to a squadron and Crew Chief on CH-53s.

There are opportunities in all branches after you get out.

Although I'm still looking for somewhere I can use my NVG and aerial gunnery instructor certs at.

The last of the Lrrp's to my knowledge were disolved in late 95 in Germay and were filtered back into unit other units.Thats were i ended up in Schwienfurt Ger.

Thanks for sending me your # so I could ask a few questions. His momma is real nervous about this whole thing, and I am the go between, not an enviable position.

He told his recruiter he would do it, and the recruiter is going to check and see if any of the openings are still left.

Mason (my son) would like to talk to you though Scott, and may try and give you a call tomorrow evening. He has the weekly workout thing with the guys in DEP tonight after work so he said it would have to be tomorrow. I gave him your number.

Sounds good! Glad to help in any way I can. Tell "momma" not to worry to much. If my mom made it, she can for sure!

He may not call, remember, he is 19 and may have it all figured out by then. He is not one to agonize over decisions too much. That is part of what drives his momma crazy.
