    West Texas fires AGAIN

Another fire kicked up today between Sterling City & Robert Lee. It's already crossed to the north side of 158 and is currently burning the northeast corner of a close friend's ranch. (also about 10 miles from our lease). They did get the planes out there within an hour to help out and have a few fire breaks already cut. It is still burning, with the winds coming out of the southwest at 40 mph and gusts to 65, this sucker's gonna spread FAST!

This area is about 10 miles due west of the Wildcat fire last month.

I'll try to get updates when I can. I don't know yet how many acres were burned but I do know it was started at the Dos Amigos ranch south of 158 with workers either cutting or grinding. I'm going to keep my trap shout about the geniuses that started this fire...

Send up some thoughts and prayers for those affected by this fire, those in the line of the fire and the firefighters out there putting their lives on the line.

Hwy. 158 is closed at the intersection of FM 2034 & Hwy. 158 It is also closed at 158 & 87 in Sterling.
