    changing job???

thinking about going back to work for a company i used to work for about 3 years ago. the only problem is that the pay is not as good as where i am. i can pay all my bills and still put money in the bank with either job. I’m just very miserable at this job and really enjoyed my last job. The reason I left my old job was that I thought I would like this job better and it paid a little more.

pretty much just thinking out loud.

I'm in the exact same boat and can't wait until my two week notice is up.

I think you answered your own question in your post. What good is the money if you are misreable. Dos, where you headed?

A little more money defintely isn't worth the aggravation of dealing with a job you hate every day. Been there and done that, and wish I hadn't.

I'm new to the forum, so my opinion isn't really worth much, all I can say is, I could easily make more money doing lots of other jobs, and I have made more money in the past. However for the last 12 years, there hasn't been a day go by that I haven't loved coming to work. I look forward to it every third day

I would be leery of giving up any seniority at a company right now with the way things seem to be progressing with the economy and jobs.

If you switch jobs now, you'd be low man on the totem pole and the first one to get kicked to the curb if things get worse.

Hope it works out for you what ever you choose.

Have to agree here. Just left a job that I was miserable. I am going back to school now. Hope we can make it but money is not worth the misery. Trust me, do what makes you happyest and you will be better for it.

However, work takes up a lot of your life so you should work at a place you like, not where you are miserable.
