What's the banjo minnow look like .

I always thought those dancin' eels would be good for trolling for stripers on a downrigger

Save your money and just buy $14 worth of Zoom flukes or any other soft plastic jerkbait....

I think the Banjo was a little ahead of its time.....jointed baits both soft and hard were all the crazy the past 2 years.

We were fishing jointed rapalas and cotton cordells in the 80s.... The first soft jerkbait I remember was the Sluggo and I think it's introduction was around 1990...well before the banjo minnow. Then came the Chatterbox by Jawtec. I think even Manns baits had a soft jerkbait that was a similar shape and texture as the banjo minus the fancy hook system before the banjo as well.

For me the Banjo Minnow rates just a tad in front of Roland Martin`s, famous..........Helicopter Lure.

Don't forget the flying lure, powerpacks and whatever that worm was that coiled up and moved in the water... Lol

I have not used them in a long time but you pretty much do exactly like the instructions say I caught lots of bass from the Bank at Belton and stillhouse lake with them.

I heard your can double the efficiency of the banjo minnow if it's used in conjunction with a Pocket Fisherman
