    I need some personal advice/wisdom!

I'll be 20 years old next month. I go to a junior college in the small town where I've lived for my entire life. I've got the opportunity at a job locally that will jump start my career and allow me to continue getting my degree so I can later move up in that company. However I've also got the opportunity to go to Santa Cruz, California for the summer with a buddy of mine who guides hunts in Kansas. We'll be staying with a guy whose family has a ranch and we get all the hog hunting, beach, and forest we can handle. I just can't decide if I should jump on this job opportunity or turn it down so I'll have a chance to make some memories and have the experience of going somewhere else before I settle down here forever....what do y'all think?

Job opportunities are hard to come by. You can always go hunting later on.

I will go against the gain and say go live a little 20 is really young. Continue you schooling online while you are gone.

In 10 years you will be like the rest of us just wishing you had more memories you can look back on to get you through the work week. I've NEVER heard any older person look back on their life and say I wished I'd worked more and played less but instead always hear them talk about the good/ fun times.

I would get the job. When you graduate you will have a degree and experience. Most grads just have a degree.

x2!! Would be tempting for the other. But job ops are harder to come by these days.

                      Work first, then play.

If you're single, go with your buddy to Cali. You've got the rest of your life to work!

Goofing off for a few months will throw you behind by years.

There are some old men who never got to the playing part living with regret

With the job market and economy the way it is now....take the job. You're likely to not have the same oppurtunity later on down the road. If the job market was better I'ld say go hunt but that's just now the way it is unfortanetly.
