Slick Trick & Magnum question about mix and match...

I have some slick tricks and some slick trick magnums. I didn't do a good job of keeping them separate. Question is...

is the Ferrel the same for the regular trick and the magnum? I have extra blades and want to make sure I can put them on and not worry about my set up.

    thanx,

I am betting the ferrals are different because of weight.....

The ferrules are the same. The only difference between the magnum and standard is the blades. You can buy new blades to switch back and forth. The ferrules are only different between 85, 100, and 125 grain heads. Blades are going to be the same for all weights, except 85 grain has it's own set of standard blades, and no magnum blades.

This is good to know. I'm a new fan boy for the tricks and don't plan to experiment with any others any more like I have been for the last two years.

That is good to know for sure. So the magnum blades weigh the same as the standards? Not counting the ferral..

Haven't weighed them on my reloading scale myself, but they should. They are "bigger" but the hole is bigger too.

That makes sense......didn't even think to look at the hole sizes...

I bought a replacement blade and ring set this weekend and the package said for 100 & 125 grain. That led me to believe that the blades are the same, but the ferrules are different.
