    developing alergy's?

The last few weeks I have been feeling weird.

kind of grogy. throat has been kinda dry. Not really hurting but just kind of weird. tightness in my chest. sinus pressure/headaches.

just kind of miserable. So I was taking my echinacea which for colds helps allot (which I thought I was coming down with). but here we are a few weeks later and still the same throat issue and headaches and sometimes dizzy feeling.

We went out mudding yesterday and after feeling like crap most the day and drinking water/powerades instead of my normal beer of choice. I came home and called my mom and she suggested some mucinex d. So I took some. and went to bed, and slept better and felt a bit better. So i took some more this morning.

Felt pretty good most the day and now feel kind of crappy again. itchy dry throat almost feel like a lump is in it. headache grogyness.

    Maybe the mucinex wore off?

For those alergy suffers does this sound accurate? Is there something better to take if so?

yeah, that is a wierd feeling. have it now.

A guy at my work had a SORE throat (like it hurt) for a few weeks. went to the doc. and turned out to be cancer. he had surgery and is going through kemo and will be good. hes been back to work.

BUT, I have that in the back of my mind. (paranoid)

yeah, i get those same type feelings. not really feeling bad, but feeling tired and crappy with some snot wrangling mixed in.

i take over the counter allergy meds, usually claritin. clears me right up, and i feel normal.

I never had allergies when I was young, about mid 20's I started having problems with sore throat every month or so and finally went to an allergist and man I was allergic to everything...I am still taking allergy shoots every week to keep them somewhat under control...

I live with it daily and have tried everything including the shots...I use the snot (no pun intended) out of saline Ocean spray and when I'm clogged and can't breath reach for Zicam Allergy gel spray. Expensive & sometimes makes me sneeze but anything is better than staying a mouth breather.

I also take zinc when my throat starts to sting...

I have the same stuff and there's no cure for it. Rain would help by washing the trees, bushes and grass of old pollen and dust plus clean the air a little. sneeze, blow ,cough, repeat.

Same here. Never bothered me until my mid 20's. Now I get the cedar fever something bad. And the rest of the stuff I just kind of live with.

Claritin D helps me a lot. Some people have to play around with different allergy meds to find the right one.

My wife and I both use the Nettle Pot, pick it up at Walgreens and it comes with saline solution, mix with warm water, lean over sink, open mouth for air, lean head to right, pour water in left nostril, it will come out right nostril, repeat for other side. I swear it can feel like your drowning, but really nasty stuff comes out, and you will feel better!
