I was offshore last weekend and the fishing is great. I went to the beach with the kids and the water is pretty clear and the weeds aren't that bad and is very fishable. I won't be able to be there at the jetties on Friday due to my work schedule but it should be a real good weekend for fishing.

Just got back today. The water was nice and the reds and trout are in the bays. We din't have much luck surf fishing due to the weeds but it was nice to get out. The shrimpfest should be going on in Aransas pass on the 10th and 11th.
