Let me start off by appoligizing for not respondingfor so long. I put up a feeder pen shortly after I set up the protein feeder and put a regular feeder in there as well to throw corn. I used 13 panels, I bought cattle panels and cut them in half to make them stand about 28 inches high and put 1/2 re-bar instead of T post(already had the re-bar and easier to install). I was going to put a strand or 2 barbed wire around it to make it taller but it turns out that so far not one hog has jumped over. We have some pretty big pigs at our place but since they have other feeders they can go to and the pen is big enough they dont care. Also there are cows but not on this part of the property. Over the fall and winter we had alot of smaller bucks but not too many does come in and eat and also had one nice young 9 point (probably 3?) showing up a good amount. We did not hunt it at all, just trying to make the deer feel comfortable in it.
