Motorcycle title?

Have motorcycles always had titles? Say you find a barn fresh 1923 Harley. Did it have a title come with it? If not, when did they start issuing titles to bikes? Just curious.

You can get a one off title for a custom built bike for it TMV eill help you out just tell them its a coustom built bike. BTW Lets see the pics.

No pics. I'm just getting ready to start looking around. Been watching American Pickers too much. A friend said they are around, you just have to look for them.

You can always file for a lost title. It's not a big deal and a pretty simple process. I've done it with a couple old boats and trailers.

I'm thinking with one that old if you get a bill of sale you are good to go
