I dont see any recipes...whats an easy and good mojito recipe? The one in the 1st edition cookbook looks a little difficult after a long day of beer

All I ever do is this:

"Eshkews me mish, mish, one more mojito pleash"

I actually was a bartender in college and I hated making mojitos because they took too much time. If you do decide to make them, make a large batch of simple syrup as that is the most time consuming part.

Basically one part each of simple syrup, soda and rum and serve over ice. Muddle some mint leaves with your simple syrup to your taste. I like more mint than most folks. You can go a little bit heavier on the rum if you like and not have a heavy taste.

Pina Colada with Jamaican Appleton's dark rum...i forget the recipe...

the hotter it gets the easier it is to keep me happy. Mikes hard lemonade in a big glass of ice is all i need. by august the cooler in the boat will be full of boones farm country quencher for a long day of fishing.

I'll get more civilized if/when it ever cools off.

If i'm indoors or the wife is too embarrassed then it's an ice cold grey goose martini-dry and dirty.

Tea with sweet & low as the sweetner, drink lots of it- all day long.

Don't like the pink sweetner for anything else, just tea.


Alcoholic drink?
I like the flavor of a pina colada, just don't care for the stomach pains the next day.
I enjoyed many of those when in Puerto Rico.
