    Running Bleachers

Anyone know where I could run bleachers in the Frisco/McKinney area? All the high schools have fields with bleachers but they're locked up like Fort Knox.

Try an intermediate school in the area. They don't often have locked fields.

They lock them, because the taxpayers did not pay for them or support them. It makes me mad when school districts do that. I remember working out in a large district stadium in Ft. Worth that had a big sign welcoming the community to use the track and bleachers and thanking them for their support. Every district should do the same it would make passing bonds and raising taxes a little easier.
Now how about every convenience store I go into on Galveston's West End this weekend putting a sign on the door "No Public Restrooms". Buccee's has made millions by having clean restrooms and welcoming people to come use them.

Dont know if its 100% true, but I've heard that if a store sells lotto tickets they MUST provide a public restroom.

You could try a local hotel and run their stairwells. I know several guys that have done this and met little resistance.

Hey jeff how is your boy doing?

I talked to Scott Hickman this last week about you. His parents have a dog w/ eye issues and recommended they make an appointment to come see you.

Another option is a lake dam or creek embankment. I have both within a mile of the house and run them regularly.

                Good luck!

Yeah, in the Frisco area it is pretty sparse. I live right across from Clark MS and while they have a track, no stands or bleachers. There are some mounds out to the east and north of there that I run up and down to get a little work, but they aren't that large.

One place you might check out is the dam at the north end of the pond at Warren Sports Complex in Frisco. It is pretty steep going directly up from the running trail to the top of the dam. I'm trying to think of some other places, but I'm drawing a blank.
