I have only let go of a slick 87 Chevy shortbed. Just because I was buying and selling to make some money for my young bride!

I had a white 67 two door post a few years ago. I bought it about half way restored. It did have disc brakes. Decent body. I built a 406 SBC with 5.7 rods, Muncie , 12 bolt reared, posi. It was pretty cool. I sold it a few years later to buy a Harley.

I sold a 31 ford 5 window coupe, all transformed from the old 6v elec system to 12v, dropped in a 283 from my dad's wrecked stang chromed out everything under the hood, red/white short shag carpeting for interior, red/white Hi-back buckets, rumble seat, originial 4pc rear bumps, 2 pc front for 2300 bucks at age 18. Took me 3 yrs to do this car. Originally it was a pick-up on that chassis. Paint scheme was Candy Red with White Pearl over. Couldn't touch that car now for under 30K I still have the original 1/4in spoke wheel and flathead 4 cyl engine in my dad's garage. Also have a balanced and blue-printed 429SCJ and a balanced 427 big block.

My first car upon leaving the Army was a 1968 Chevelle SS with 396 cu. in. engine. That thing would fly!

That is one nice car! The only car I've had that I regret getting rid of was a 1956 Ford Thunderbird convertible.
