Stress echo done

I just got back from my stress echo and will get the results tommorrow. That treadmill is a *****. Got an MRI on the shoulder next week to see what the damage is.

I have had a run of good luck though. My cardiologist did all my stuff for free, and the MRI doesn't cost anything since I work there part time as a medic. The check out girl at the cardiologist asked if I was a doctor and I asked why. She said that the doc told her it was free for professional courtesy. I told her I was just a Firefighter/Medic. She said it was covered and not to worry about it, cool!

Lucky you, that was several thousand dolllars worth. But really, for what you do, you should all get it free.

wow i'm very impressed that they did it for free. No facility i have ever worked at would even consider that. The docs that used to would have done it off the books can't do it anymore due to being an "employee" of a hospital or corporation. I'm assuming this must be a private practice?
