    Fishing out of Venice, LA

I have some friends at work that are going fishing out of Venice, LA the weekend of June 4th. I was wondering if anybody down that way could give me any info on travel problems because of the flood and how the fishing is. His guide keeps telling him the fishing is great, not saying it isn't but that is like the cook telling you how good the special is today. It's his job right!

In talking with my peeps just upstream of new orleans, no problems. Wouldn't know there was any issue unless you watched the news. My niece and her husband are killing the specs west of Venice around Grand Isle.

Go catch a bunch of fish and have a great time.

I went last Thursday though Sunday and limited out on Red everyday. I had to eat a lot of fish to keep from being over the limit, but that was good too.

i wouldnt miss a chance to fish venice. some of the finest people in the industry. the fishing is world class, i used to fish for a living and my trips to venice were usually the high light of my season. offshore of louisiana is truly a magical place.the inshore fishing is crazy also.

I AM NOT GOING OFFSHORE. My friends are. I love southern LA. Would love to go just hang out, but I ain't goin out in a boat. Went out one time in my life, that was enough. Didn't get sick, just didn't like it when the shore disappeared. I told my friend that I could get him the real low down on the green screen from my LA brothers. I new you would come through. Thanks, he's gonna owe me some fish!

You don't have time for beer or food, you need to be working. You might be a millionaire by time this storm season is over.
