Scary stuff! I would have been praying big time. I can't imagine going through that and then walking outside to see most of the town flattened.

Those poor kids were terrified. Hearing the terror in their voices was heartbreaking.

brings back bad memories from Devine/Hondo/Yancey from '03. it was a small one, but it ripped the roof off our house (us in it), tore stuff up in hondo, came out of yancey...took one of my kids's dad's car and put it on their house after it leveled it.

The huge oak tree behind our house was half gone...6" dia branches twisted off

you could see the path through the field.

Prayers for everyone up there. Got a good friend in Joplin...it missed him by 3 blocks.
