    Tornado pic from Kansas

I got this photo from the Facebook page of my hometown's emergency management guru. It was taken about 8 miles north of the ranch in Russell Co, Kansas. It was an F3 tornado. Luckily it stayed out in the rural area, crossed over Wilson Lake, and eventually weakened as it moved across the lake. I don't think it destroyed any occupied structures during it's time on the ground. These things are massive and something to see in person.

As scary as they are when you see one in person and you are not being threatened by it you will not be able to take your eyes off of it and you will be in awe of it. They are something else to see in person.

Been here in Kansas for going on 3 years and still waiting to see my first one...
We do love the storms around here. They blow in and move out really fast. But while they are here, there will be LOTS of Rain and Wind.....

Was in Greensburg shortly after that tornado. That was as wild as anything I've seen...

I had a good friend from college from Greensburg. Their house was leveled from the tornado. It's crazy how fast they move and damage they can do.

Thanks Keegan.. You JINXED us. We had storms all around us all night last night. We stayed under a Tornado WARNING until a little after midnight. Luckily it broke up prior to getting here..
"Welcome to Kansas" is what the neighbors keep telling me...
