My two cat hounds, 9 month old and a 2 yeard old.. both female, played like that as well..normal stuff..

Up until about 2 weeks ago the 2 yeard old would correct the pup when she got too rambunctious..
now the pup has gone into heat..and has exerted some serious alpha-biotch on the 2 year old to the point I have to keep them seperated.
the pup is claiming everything as her's..
the 2 year old thinks the pup has lost her ever-lovin mind.

Probably the best thing that happened to your lab. They are great with each other!

I agree with this 100%. This is just normal playing by two fairly young dogs.

My lab ( she is 3) and my fiances' husky (he is 13) play like this all the time. She learned how to play from him. They will go on and on like this until the husky has had enough and gets tired. The lab will want to keep playing and the husky will shut her down pretty quick when he is done playing.

She knows when he is done, and she will leave him alone after that.... for the most part. Every once in a while, she will not pay attention and he has to remind her that he is done playing.

          Normal to me!
I dog sit a couple of dogs in my neighborhood occasionally. I usually bring them to my house. Your video is exactly what they do once they set up the Alpha dog (mine) order!

Every dog I've ever had has played like that. Yeah, pretty normal.

Thanks everyone for the comments. It took me 5 years to talk my wife into getting the lab, then 5 more to get the lacy. Growing up we only ever had one dog at a time. My lab just has not been around that many other dogs.....the lacy has and she is always the one to initiate the play from what I have observed. Glad to hear it is a good thing, I thought so much but obviously was unsure.
