I'd like to here some reviews about the bowtech assassin. I am thinking about buying one as a backup/3d bow.

Great bows.
Pretty smooth, pretty fast, simple tuning, no frills bowhunting bow.
I have two of them, a 60 and a 70.
I've sold a bunch of them this year and the only one I've seen back in the shop was dry-fired twice, so I've replaced the string twice.
Typical speed out of a 28-70 with a 380-385 grain GT 7595 is 300 fps.

I'm partial to the binary cams but it was between the Strother SX-1 and the Bowtech Assassin for me. Went with the SX-1 but the Assassin was a very close second. I shot everything Jerry had at RBO and these were the two I liked best. The only complaint on the Assassin I really had was the grip and that I could only buy it with the RAK accessories and not bare bow.

all of the above, smooth, dead in hand, quiet and quick. I had a 29 60 assasin and a 29 60 destroyer 340 here in the shop and the destroyer maxed out at 63 with the assassin at 61 and they both shot 328 with a 308gr lightspeed 500 over the official asa south chrono.
Im very impressed and feel it is a great bow for the money.
