I am looking at a 4 wheeler to buy BUT he has no title and says it is not stolen but want to double check. Anyone have connections to run it? I tried online and paid $1 to find out that no vin found.

i have a DPS buddy....PM me the VIN..i just had a four wheeler given to me and no title and you cannot get a lost title on them eitherff...but my buddy said that as long as you get a bill of sale and the VIN is good you wont have a problem whatsoever just make sure you have the BOS with you at all times -

If the VIN# is still on there I would dought it is stolen. But then again a crook aint the smartest knife in the drawer.Comment

Its not a requirement. More of a safety measure in case you get pulled over and an officer decides to run the #. They get stolen often and its not too uncommon for them to run the #.Comment

I do carry title shrunken and laminated along with my insurance card on it and the trailer ID's all in a handy dandy bag, with my pistol in my console during transport,

got my 96 big bear from my GPA... got a title. purchased from same dealer.
