I'm having an issues my my 2 units. I have the HDS 7 in the console and the 5 on the deck. The one in the console is reading water temp off the front transducer and the one on the deck is reading depth structure scan sonar etc off of the rear transducer. It's been like this for a while but I never bothered to get it fixed because I was sight fishin and throwning rattle traps in 4-8'. Now the fish are getting deeper and I need the front to read off the front so I can do some vertical stuff.

Im no guru but if your units are networked, thru NMEA2000 its a configuration issue. I am betting you just need to go into your menus and tell each unit which transducer to use, or set a priority setting up for each transducer to unit. I know they can share transducers, I just dont remeber how to set all the settings because I dont work with em everyday since most of my time is spent twistin wrenches on the motors not the electronics, I will do a little research and see if I cant find away to be of more help.
